Today Marks 5th Anniversary of Missing Wix Girls

The last time anyone in Jennifer Wix’s family spoke with her was 5 years ago today on Thursday, March 25th 2004. It has been a grueling 5 years for the loved ones of Jennifer and Adrianna Wix. Several years of no answers, no resolution, no search warrants, and limited national media. Kathy Holloway is still missing her daughter and grand-daughter and is on a life-long mission to bring resolution to this haunting nightmare.

On Wednesday evening March 24, 2004, Jennifer called me very upset about a situation in the home where she lived with her boyfriend and his parents. We spoke on the phone for about an hour, she told me that she loved me and that she would call tomorrow. I have not heard from her yet. She called her Father and her Aunt on Thursday and voiced to them the concerns she had over her living conditions. On Friday, I could not get her off my mind all day at work, when I arrived home I tried to contact her and learned that she was gone. Her boyfriend told the family that he and Jenn had argued on Thursday evening and that he took her to the interstate exit nearby, (I-65 N exit 112). He told us that she asked him to leave but he decided to pull across the street and make sure she was meeting someone. She waited for five or ten minutes and then got into the backseat of a white four door car. He was very vague in the description of the automobile and said he did not see the person in the car or which direction they went. His statement is that Jennifer returned to his home on Friday afternoon, without Adrianna, driving the car she had gotten into the night before for her income tax return that was to be in that day. His parents were not home to give her the money so she left and said she would return on Saturday to get it. To my knowledge she has not returned for it. On Saturday, March 27, 2004 when she did not return we reported Jennifer and Adrianna missing. Jennifer has no car, no money, and did not take any clothes or personal items with her

A few things I find to be rather disturbing is the conversation and apparent wickedness that the alleged Benton family writes on the Topix message boards. Why is it they have changed their story about what allegedly happened to Jennifer and Adrianna on the Topix website? They have made several different accusations ranging from Jennifer having a drug issue, pimping her own daughter out and having run away to a cult or a safe house. It all wreaks a little too much of a simple episode of “Murder She Wrote” – Viewers can figure out the obvious ending to the story when the hour is up. The “guilty” makes an accusation to point in another direction but good ole smart Angela Lansbury always figures it out in the end. However, this is not a typical one hour long episode; this is a 5 year battle and in this case each “side” feels their side is the obvious one. Honestly, I don’t see how the Benton’s could not understand why they are in the hot seat with the public. They have called off searches at the last minute of their own land when search specialists had arrived from all over the country. Why is this? Were they fearful “things” would have been found? Did these searchers have something that scared the Benton family? Did they initiate the searches to serve their own purpose of trying to look good in the public when they really knew how the searches would turn out? Never to happen at all.

Law Enforcement can’t always act on their instincts, they have rules and regulations to abide by. They have constitutional rights to follow. They have to bide their time. Sometimes the procedures put in place to protect us private citizens help hinder criminal investigations and help the guilty prevail. This does happen folks but you can bet your last bottom dollar that the Blue Crime Hunter is going to see to it that the Wix family find their justice. We will shout from roof-tops until this case is publicized nationally, we will employ private professionals, we will not let Kathy Holloway down and we will find out what happened to Jennifer and Adrianna Wix.

In this world of evil the good will outdo the bad. There are good people in this country, strangers banding together, making friendships and contacts reaching coast to coast. Resources are being pooled.

I have confidence that there will be an end in sight for the Wix family and friends. I will be blogging updates about this case as things progress.

Jennifer and Adrianna Wix Disappear Into Thin Air..March 25th 2004

Folks,

It isn't too often that I am shocked beyond belief when reading about a crime story. But the story of Jennifer and Adrianna AKA Nina Wix has my panties bunched into positions I didn't even know existed.

I stumbled onto this story on the web. And after more research I have found information ranging from topix to the websleuths sites. It is enough garbage to make you want to puke out your favorite food of the century. In the meantime, J's mother Kathy Holloway is on a mission to find out what happend to her precious family members only to be told her daughter was a "ho" and she is pimping out her grandaughter. This isn't the typical commentary usually found on a message board in a criminal case. Usually, the support of the public is key. Except, there are cases where the usual "guilty" have their crew of supporters backing them up. If you read my blog on the Corrie Wood case you can see this is true in the case of Scott Petro, obviously guilty of the slaying of Corrie Wood but yet to be charged. Don't worry folks, Blue Crime Hunter is on the up and up in that case and knows this one to be truly guilty and his time is coming. I have not yet infiltrated the Benton's but have faith that it is my new mission.

J and A went missing allegedly on the evening of March 25th, 2004. According to J's boyfriend "slimy" Joey Benton, he dropped J and A off at a gas station, he told law enforcement that he last saw Wix when he dropped her and her daughter at an Exxon Station around 9:30 that last night(25th) near Cross Plains. He stated they left with someone in a white car. Now, later Benton claims it was a white 4 door mustang or camero. Last, I check they don't make 4 doors in either of these models. My radar is scanning at full speed! What makes this "story" more proposterous is that Benton makes a claim that his girlfriend shows up at his home the following day looking for her income tax return while driving the same vehicle she was seen getting into the previous evening. At this time he claims her daughter was not present. To date Joey Benton is not able to give law enforcement the make and model of this car.

Since the time of disappearence the Benton family who Wix resided with have been hesitant in their cooperation with family. There have been searches on the land that is quite expansive but never has there been a FULL search of all land. Cadeavor dogs have not had the chance to comb the full capacity of the land the Benton's own. Why not?

What is more troubling and disturbing in this case is all the slander and "trash talk" that the Wix/Holloway family has had to endure at the hands of the Benton family. Not only have they had to deal with the Benton family they also have to suffer when learning that Joey Benton likes to run his mouth after he has consumed either to much alcohol or drugs. Pure Speculation, Folks.

The boys name is Joey Benton.........this information should be passed on to Lt Don Bennett at the Robertson County Sheriff's Dept. This would not be the first time that this "boy" has been drugging it up at a party and bragged about murdering the girls! It's outrageous that he is still allowed to roam the streets of Robertson County!

Next, another example from Papabear himself, the father of Joey Benton who writes as a regular on topix.

Here Joe Benton tell his account of the evening that Jennifer Wix and her daughter went missing.

Joe Benton:

Huh, on thursday night when they left. Me and my wife were both home. There was a car reck in front of our house so the police or someone else may have seen them leave. Joey did not return until around 10, he had to pick up her cousin and be in Franklin ky early friday. I don't think she took the car seat from Joey's truck. She returned on friday after Joey and her cousin got home from work and got somethings I belive the car seat was one of them. He then went to a party Friday night. Jennifers aunt called late friday night and asked Joey what he knew about where Jennifer had gone. I carried him over there because he had been drinking. As I have posted the police did not show up until saturday.

As a crime buff, I find it interesting that this is just ONE account of the evening the girls went missing. Joe seemed to skip the detail about Joey's claim that Jennifer returned the following day seeking her tax returns. He is all over the topix board with different tidbits of info. It is all very scattered. But rarely does he ever recount the occurences directly and in order.

Next, I find this a little disturbing. Another EXCUSE of Joe Benton's about why Jennifer is the crazy one. Notice the date, April 15th 08' and you can see this is another grasp for a straw and poor attempt to draw the attention away from the Benton family.

we tryed for 3 months to get Jennifer sober she was hooked on prescription drugs. street drugs and alcohol. we could not get her sober. we made her leave once. and then tryed again. Joey lived in the barn with her for about a month before moving into the house.

For crying outloud, this girl was living in a barn. A barn she later wanted to return to after living inside the family home for a period of time. My question to you is, why would this young girl and mother want to return to a barn with no running water or heat? What was going on inside that family home? In my opinion something very sinister was going over the roof of Joe Benton. The question is what? And this leads me to one last factual bit of info. J took A to the Dr, there something was discovered that could possibly put the Benton's into the spotlight. Something that could point the finger in the terms of sexual child abuse but not such an obvious abuse that could have immediantly alerted the medical staff at the time. Did J confront the Benton's about A's situation? Did this lead them to disposing of J and A in the sense of murder or is it possible they were sold into slavery? I think either of these theories have clout and should be explored further.

The same people who took the child away and told everyone that the boy died and then allowed the good folks that worked with "the Benton's" to take up a collection to help the family?

Or did they accuse that child of running away, as well?

Maybe 'Friend' would share what "the Benton's" told him about the reasons he was given up for adoption?

Aren't these the same people who wouldn't take Jennifer and her baby to the emergency room when the child was in distress?

The people who, by Benton the Elder's own admission, allowed a young woman and her toddler to live in a barn with no water in the winter, rather than insisting that they at least live in the family's home like civilized people?

The people whose progeny has actually TOLD people that he killed Jennifer?(Which I have never believed, by the way.)

The people whose kid has been arrested over and over and over?

The people whose son is accused of abusing other girlfriends?

And these people "are some of the nicest people we have ever had the pleasure of knowing"?!?\

Something is stinking to high heaven in this small town of Springfield, Tennessee. And the Blue Crime Hunter is going to get to the bottom of it.

One other interesting tid-bit of info. The Benton's had a niece, Emily Benton who died at the young age of 17. She apparently died in a car wreck on April 13th 2004. It was said no foul play was involved. Now, don't take me for an old stupid fool over here but there have been a many of crime cases where car wrecks are involved and made to look like it was an "accident". What did Emily Benton know regarding the disapearance of Jennifer and Adrianna Wix? Was she hushed by the family? The brother of her parents? Did Jennifer confide in Emily? I smell a conspiracy, of course all just my opinion and I will clairify once more facts become known.

There is plenty of bickering in this case. But the Blue Crime Hunter is now on a mission. We are going to have Jennifer and Adrianna all over the national media when I am finished. It might not be tomorrow but the day will come when this case comes to roost. There will be graves dug up, property searched and plenty more where I am concerned. This case has been mismanaged and ignored. The Wix/Holloway family has a right to justice and justice it will be.

Corrie Wood II

I decided to go ahead and shut down the comments section on the first Corrie Wood posting. I warned everyone not to make any threats to one another. It is unacceptable. Scott is technically innocent until proven guilty. However, that still doesn't mean you are not entitled to your opinon and if you want to express your opinon - please state: This is my opinon on what happend but there is no confirmed truth to the matter. I will now moderate any posts before they are allowed on my blog.

Reading this might be emotional for Scott to read. If you are innocent in terms of Corrie's death, then you have nothing to worry about. Any opinions being said on here hold no merit to you and my suggestion would be trying to find the person who did this to your girlfriend. This is the only way to fully take the cloud of suspicion off of you. Just my opinion. Last, since you are reading my blog, I would like to plead with you to stop drinking and driving. Maybe you had nothing to do with Corrie's death but I would devastated to find out that you killed an innocent person while drinking and driving. Please think of the innocent people out there that don't want to loose on of their son's or daughter's to a drunk driver. Think of your own child being taken from you by a drunk driver, imagine the hurt and pain you would feel. Please.

Folks, always remember that the mistakes of your youth and younger years can haunt you later in life. Every choice you make can affect you later on in life. Just like people that commit sex crimes against our youth will forever pay by being "outed" no matter where they live. Though, in my opinion they should have more harsh consequences. However, I am grateful to have this type of protection in place. When a sex crime is commited, it is always the prior offenders that are dragged in first. When you committ a violent hate crime, you will be in a data base and gurantee you that you will be dragged in first. I can understand Scott being frustrated at the speculation but he needs to remember that in most cases, it is always those with a prior record that are under suspicion first.

Keep it clean this time or I will not allow any additional postings.

New Theory on Pedophiles

Why isn't it that pedohiles can't be exhiled to a foreign island?? In a place where they can all play with one another instead of harming our innocent children?? Why don't we live in a country that believes in castration of violent sexual offenders? WHY? The answer is simple; LIBERALS. Their hearts bleed as much as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. They are the eternal optimists that can not see any wrong doing in such monsters that commit these awful crimes. That is unless they are pro-life and for lower taxes. As long as we have liberals, children will be hurt, wives will be killed by their husbands, drunk drivers will continue to drive drunk, and we can hope to keep our 2nd Amendment because we will be needing it in the most powerful and scary way with this very scary future.

The Murder of Corrie Wood

Hello, this is the start my blog - Anything that is written here is of my personal opinon.


I have a hard time reading about cases of murder when so many questions are left unanswered. For instance, the murder of Corrie Wood has particularly struck a nerve within me. I want the answers because I want to see justice prevail in the taking of a young mother who had so much in life, a beautiful daughter, a loving caring family, friends and now strangers due to these circumstances caring for her. I never knew Corrie personally or knew of her until her tragic death but she has inspired me to start writing this blog.

I have so many questions I would like to see answered. What is fact and what is fiction? This story has many twists and turns that lead nowhere. Why is it taking so long for her killer to be arrested? How can a small town sleep when they know a killer walks with them? How does her killer live with themselves, knowing they took a young mother away from their baby? I can only imagine how Corrie's loved ones must feel, I could never put myself in their position but I am sure the answer is; inbearable.

She seems like the person that you would like to know even if you have never met her. I am sure her loved ones who knew her best would agree.

I hate to be cliche but why is it the story of Corrie is any less important than any other's that top each days news headlines?? Lacy Peterson received news 24 hours a day for years. She was young, she was a mother - Corrie was young, she is a mother and no less important. Why is Corrie's story only good enough for a few blurbs in the local newspapers and crimestoppers taking phone-in and online tips?? Where is Greta Van Sustern and Nancy Grace?? This case should be looked at - a potentially botched crime scene is news! She was the victim of an angry murderer, who could be so angry with this beautiful young lady to commit such a violent act?

Corrie was born on Sept. 22, 1979 in Holdrege, Neb. to Gerald Leroy Wood and Karen Jane Heltne Wood, the youngest child of three. She was confirmed on April 24, 1994 at Zion Lutheran Church in Imperial, Neb. by Rev. Bruce Skelton. Corrie's confirmation verse is "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1. She graduated from Chase County High School in Imperial, Neb. in 1998. Corrie was a devoted mother to her daughter, Kyleigh, who was the delight of her life. She loved to garden and turned her beautiful wares into delicious food. She enjoyed camping at the lake and having all her friends and family join her. She was devoted to her mother, Karen, and enjoyed an afternoon golfing with her father, Jerry. She loved to ride horses as a child and had just got a horse for her daughter, Kyleigh, to enjoy. Corrie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy H. and Leona E. Rowan Wood and Joseph Calmer Heltne. Corrie will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kyleigh Jade Jaeger; her parents, Gerald Wood and Karen Wood of Imperial; sister, Kellee Nielson and husband, Jared, of Castle Rock.
